A substitute teacher was placed behind bars Tuesday evening after allegedly masturbating in the toy aisle of a North Port Wal-Mart.
The Herald-Tribune reported that 28-year-old William Tyler Black grabbed a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and police said he performed the lewd act behind a toy display.
When he finished, he continued shopping while store security called the police.
Black allegedly told police that he committed the sex act because he saw “hot girls” in the Wal-Mart.
The report said that Black was charged with one count of indecent exposure and because he left bodily fluids in a place where a child may come into “harmful contact” with it, one count of battery.
Black was fired from his position as a substitute teacher at Imagine School in Lakewood Ranch.
He remains in Sarasota County Jail.
