Now the former M-cup bra wearer says that surgery to remove the implants and most of her breast tissue have left her with two holes where her breasts once were, until further surgery can be completed.
The breast surgery to enhance her breasts was done in Brazil because Texas limits the amount of silicone one can have injected, and for good reason.
In July of this year, Hershey, 30, was in a fight for her life when, after 30 plastic surgery procedures, she suffered her first serious complication by contracting a staph infection in both breasts after an operation.
“I had large fever and painful. I just couldn’t breathe properly; it was terrible! I was in bed all day, couldn’t get up,” said Hershey at the time.
Hershey’s bust size was measured an incredible 51 inches plus when the infection took its toll, and she decided to ax the silicone implants.
“I decided to go smaller — a lot smaller. I just want a normal size like a normal housewife has,” Hershey told interviewers. “I know it’s going to be a lot of pain on me because I love to have them, but I realize that my family comes first and I love my daughter and son and they come first.”
“Even though I love to have huge breasts I’m going to try to live without it. Hopefully I will be done then and be happy and just running around with my kids!”
An overlarge bust can lead to pinched nerves, muscle spasms, neck and back pain, scar tissue infections and vascular complications. In Hershey’s case, she has been forced to use a medical vacuum that removed the infected tissue from her chest for months before surgery could be performed.
Hershey had four implants – two in each breast – in order to accomplish her massive mammaries. She is expected to undergo reconstructive surgery once she has recovered from the breast implant removal in a few months, reports Houston’s Fox News.
