Chelsea have been hit with an extraordinary transfer ban from FIFA which prohibits them from signing any new players until Jan 2011. The sanction was announced after Fifa’s dispute resolution chamber (DSC) ruled that France teenager Gaël Kakuta had breached his contract with Lens and been induced to do so by Chelsea.
