It look as though the famous referee from Switzerland, Massimo Busacca, has gone awall.
Busacca, one of football’s (soccer) best known referees, refereed the biggest game of the year a few months ago in the European Champions League Final between Barcelona and Manchester United. He also referred the 2007 UEFA Cup Final, World Cup 2006 and has been preselected to referee in World Cup 2010.
A few days ago Busacca received a three match suspension for giving fans the finger when he was refereeing in Switzerland, this is very unusual behavior from a referee but now he’s a hot topic for the media since he is being accused of pissing on a football field during a game which he was refereeing in Qatar earlier this month. These accusations are all over the web today but videos of the incident have blurred out his private parts and commentary of the video is in Arabic. Just for laughs here’s a video of Kim Christensen, a goalkeeper of IFK Gothenburg in Sweden making his goal smaller when they played Orebro yesterday. It took the referee (not Busacca thankfully) 20 minutes to correct the goal size, the game ended 0-0.
