YouTube Classic of the Week – Battle at Kruger

This amateur wildlife video which was shot in September 2004 at Kruger National Park, South Africa became a web sensation when posted on YouTube. It’s a dramatic war between a herd of Cape Buffalo, pack of lions and one or two crocodiles.

This video won the YouTube Best Eyewitness Video Award, was the subject of an article in Times magazine, was featured in the first episode of ABC’s News’ i-Caught and they’ve even made a National Geographic Documentary about this video.
