Citizen Pulls Over Cop for Speeding

A YouTube video of an Accomack County Sheriff’s deputy allegedly speeding has become the talk of the Eastern Shore. The driver who videotaped the deputy later confronted him.

“I’m coming for you,” the driver says on tape. “You can’t run baby.”

What could be considered a dangerous way to prove a point has become an internet favorite.

“I was in shock that someone was stupid enough to actually do that,” said Accomack resident Elizabeth Walraven.

The video, shot earlier this month, has had more than 20,000 hits. The driver films himself chasing down the deputy he believed was speeding.

“I just got you on video blowing by me at 90 miles per hour,” the driver said to the deputy. At one point the driver’s speedometer hit 90 heading down Highway 13. “He was holding his cell being a commentator,” said Accomack County resident BJ Bundick. “That is ridiculous. It was irresponsible on his side.”

Accomack County Sheriff Larry Giddens says Deputy Jason Campbell was simply caught on tape making a mistake. He tells WAVY.com the young officer wasn’t responding to a call and shouldn’t have been speeding. The sheriff says Campbell has been disciplined. He wouldn’t tell us Deputy Campbell’s punishment.

“You’re scared aren’t you,” the driver yelled at the deputy during the chase. The identity of the 20-year-old cameraman remains a mystery. The 8-minute video shows him honking and getting the deputy to pull over. He then confronts the officer and the deputy lets the driver go.

    Punk Ass Cop….get em’ son! ye, this is very risky, but I love this. Cops can’t be trusted anymore, if they ever really could be….Most are former high school bullies, who didn’t know what else to do so they found a way to continue bullying for the rest of their careers…

    This is hilarious. This guy has some big balls and if I was the cop I would have taken his camera.. smashed it.. and arrested him for speeding and threatening a police officer. I would have made that little fucker my bitch hoe. ya digg.

    if that cop had any intelligence at all he immediately would have arrested him had him in hand cuffs-”what are u arresting me for, catching u speeding.” no im arresting u for running thou stop signs and obviously hitting 90 100 with me.
    “dude u cant arrest me u were breaking the law coper.” nah mother fucker i was following a 1080 from dispatch.

    i mean damn i completely agreed with the cameraman and I agreed with him on the fact that they yeah use the cop thing to speed when ever they want to go threw stop signs and all the little other things i cant think of that they do.

    but dude unless ur listening to the dispatch radio which he was not doing (he just got lucky he actually was a horrible cop and did catch him illegally doing his job.) u cant follow a cop at high speed dude he is lucky as fuck,

    i mean can u imagine the cop was on pursuit to go to a i dont know robbery in progress, when they both pulled over he’d be arrested on so many accounts i mean chasing down a cruiser, possibly threatening a cop, completely enabling him to do his job let alone the cop actually getting to the 1080 in time before

    u cant predict whats going on, you cant see every angle.

    but i am glad he knew the cop was a fuckin retard.
