    Not all pilots get paid only $23,000 a year. It depends on many things such as what airline they are flying, whether it’s major airline, or more of a “low-fare” airline, as well as their education, how long they’ve been with the airline company, how well that airline is doing, etc. Like with any other job, the pay is in accordance to the company. Pilots can get paid up to $200,000 a year! I have a few close friends who their parents are in the airline business as pilots and I can assure you they make much more than $23,000 a year.

    they do get paid, but they have to pay their dues first like anyone else.
    teachers need to actually teach if they want to get more money and not just pick that as a career because they get the summers off…..

    Pilots of commercial airlines generally will make over 6 figures, though it does take several years to reach that point…sounds just like a doctor or lawyer to me….besides, airlines are struggling and air fares are high enough…where do you think an increase in pay for pilots would end up? that’s right, the consumers would pay for that as well…I just want a good drug and sleep deprivation testing going on before each flight….
