so in light of this discussion, if a tree falls in the forest and you are not there to hear it. does it still make crash noise? some things just are ,and others are by faith because we trust in history, experience and theories, and accept as such.
Hi all, you should watch a movie called “What the Bleep Do we Know”. It really reminded me of GCP’s idea that consciousness affects matter. They touch many things in the movie; quantum physics, the idea that “empty” space is not really empty, that the world is created mostly by thoughts and not by matter, etc. Its great !

that’s like saying I’m an actor, but I don’t know if I’m in the movie, what movie is it, and what role do I play and no one else knows either. So, if the movie is unknown, and there’s no proof it exists, than there are no actors.
everything you do have consequences, but r they relevant or just another particle of infinity? there is no plan in infinity, because everything that happens in infinity is random. it must be, because there r no boundaries, so consequences have nothing valid to have effect upon.
Every action in our lives is a consequence of someones choice, from the moment you are born to the moment you die. The meaning behind life is not just death, or just living until the end. We all play a part in a greater role. A role beyond us and our understanding. You are here for a purpose greater than you can imagine, for every choice you make effects the world indefinately.

that’s too generalized. there is no proof everything is done because of choice. too much random stuff happens. It’s a fallacy to say there are no coincidences, because that would mean everything in life is predetermined (which can’t be proved either). considering we have freewill (=infinite amount of choices) which is influenced by other factors as well, we, just like every other living organism, have only one true and defined purpose: to live until you die.
Or better said…Outcomes. consequence sounds too negative … some consequences are very positive.
